Flight ''Award 737 ''from Prigipaki -London has just landed in Athens-Dindinaki

Ok that was so out of the blue!!!!! Yesterday was a really uneasy day…I had once again to go to Athens International Airport and say ‘‘goodbye…have calm seas and please come back safe…’’ to my precious beloved dad!! I’ ve spent my half life in Airports and I really have a very bizarre feeling every time (mixed love-hate feelings). I remember myself since I was a little girl to observe people in Airports, especially their reactions, the expressions in their faces… Airports are magical places, a whole other parallel universe…For some people, they bring reunion. For others, airports are just an irritating extension of work. But for some other people, airports are the final place for families and friends to say goodbye in person…I don’t get emotional very easily, but in Airports I can turn into a Drama Queen!

En route to our home (after having said goodbye to dad) the whole family always remains so silent that I swear I can hear the air enters in our bodies through our noses and mouths…So feeling a little bit blue, I decided late at night to open my pc and…tatatata!!! An award from my sweet prigipaki…Oh, girl really you made my day, you painted a large, HUGE smile in my face again, in a moment I needed soooo much!!thank you so much, honestly WHAT AN HONOR!!

…and after all these Hip Hip Hoorays, I panicked a little bit… NOW WHAT??? (ok I admit it I must have been given an award of the most ignorant fashion blogger ever)…I guess I pass it in 3 (after having checked, the most of the girls pass it to 3 other fashion queens) fashion bloggers I really-really admire and enjoy reading…

Well (assuming I can’t pass it back to my prigipaki), I pass this Award

1. Battered couture for being the FIRST fashion blog I discovered (by accident after searching in Google for a pair of buckle boots Chloey Sevigny did for Opening Ceremony) and inspired me to give it a try too. Also for being so unique, so herself in a such original way and for expressing her thoughts and feelings in a such undisguised way.

2. The Soho Symposium for being so supportive, kind with the new, goofy fashion bloggers like me, and for giving me precious advices. Fashion blogging is a ‘‘profession’’ … she's got that down to a fine art, BUT she never takes it too serious.

3. Streetgeist, for giving me a free trip around beautiful places and giving me the opportunity to admire fabulous people, explore their outstanding personalities through their personal clothing style.

Last but not least I would like to add that if there was an award ‘‘Queen of Words’’, I will definatelly pass it to Lou, my iper(d)rastiko koritsi...

‘‘Recently I overheard a father and daughter in their last moments together.

They had announced her departure and standing near the security gate, they
hugged and he said, "I love you. I wish you enough." She in turn said,

"Daddy, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever
needed. I wish you enough, too, Daddy."

They kissed and she left. He walked over toward the window where I was
seated. Standing there I could see he wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to
intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed me in by asking, "Did you ever say
goodbye to someone knowing it would be forever?"

"Yes, I have," I replied. Saying that brought back memories I had of expressing
my love and appreciation for all my Dad had done for me. ……

"When you were saying goodbye I heard you say, "I wish you enough." May I
ask what that means?"

He began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other
generations. My parents used to say it to everyone." He paused for a moment
and looking up as if trying to remember it in detail, he smiled even more. "When
we said 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting the other person to have a life
filled with just enough good things to sustain them," he continued and then
turning toward me he shared the following as if he were reciting it from memory.

"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much
bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye."

He then began to sob and walked away’’
